There’s nothing wrong with using celebrities as an inspiration for style and beauty, provided you realize that you are you, a unique person who should celebrate themselves rather than imitate another completely.

This way, you can celebrate with said celebrity’s style, using tips they’ve found from access to excellent fashion designers and beauty treatments, and consider how this might work for you - making adjustments that are more your speed. We’ve often see that with superstars like Rihanna, it’s not exactly how they look that can inspire us, but the moves they make towards inclusion, and creating products that work.

Rihanna’s makeup line was one of the first to produce foundations for women with darker skin tones, an unjustifiably underserved market for some time. Perhaps taking inspiration in positive celebrity innovations, then, is the best way to go about things.

A good way to think about this is to also understand how certain cosmetic treatments are being considered as a matter of course. This will help you feel informed as to the work they may have done, and if you might like to consider that yourself one day - well at least you’ll have all the facts, understanding, and true insight into how these procedures are performed.

As the following infographic shows, you don’t have to remain in the dark about such a consideration. The more people can feel inspired to take control of their own beauty and style, then perhaps taking inspiration in celebrity style need not even be something you have to consider:
