SZA Gave Us A Look Inside Her Incredible '90s Inspired Wardrobe
Although SZA’s long-anticipated project, CTRL, has been delayed until further notice, The Coveteur recently visited the singer to chat about the upcoming album, her lowkey love of ‘90s style, Trump and her biggest insecurities. For those those who aren’t familiar, SZA’s music is described as alternative R&B, with elements of soul, hip hop, minimalist R&B, cloud rap, ethereal R&B, witch house and chillwave.
In the interview, SZA revealed that growing up in a modest Muslim home and being overweight really influenced her style. Further, she explained how singing and writing began as rebellion but developed into therapy for her. “I hope people who listen to my music feel like they’re with me, like we’re in it together and that it’s a group effort,” she said.
