Stüssy Celebrates 40 Years By Collaborating With Comme Des Garçons

Happy Birthday to Stüssy! With the brands 40th anniversary approaching fans were expecting something big. To mark the beginning of the celebration they have teamed up with Comme Des Garçons to create a limited-edition varsity jacket. It’s a real statement piece.

In line with signature varsity style, the jacket comes in an oversized silhouette with elasticated cuffs. Both brands boast rich history and standout aesthetic which has been incorporated into the piece. The jacket features co-branded embroidery and pays homage to both brands signature pieces through patches down the jacket arms.

The jacket itself is made of black wool and then lined with black satin. The front left-side showcases Stüssy’s double S logo, worldwide locations and the years of operation starting in 1980-now (2020). The brand specific features on the sleeve show the Stussy bucket hat and Comme Des Garçons perfume bottle. The back is branded heavily with a CDG-branded surfboard being carried by an abstract figure.
