Cat Burns Unveils Brand New Single ‘You Don’t Love Me Anymore’
The South London artist will embark on a North American tour following her debut next month.
Multi-BRIT-nominated, double-platinum-selling South London artist Cat Burns delivers her brand new single, ‘you don’t love me anymore’.
Already a firm favourite with her ‘Burners’ on social media and a highlight of her opening set for Sam Smith’s GLORIA tour, ‘you don’t love me anymore’ is a delicately written song overflowing with sincere emotion and vulnerability. A song close to Cat’s heart, she says “It gently speaks about a fear loads of us have in relationships where we’re worried our partner may wake up one day and no longer love us. I truly hope this song brings comfort to anyone going through this exact thing right now.”. Cat’s new single arrives with a music video, going live at 5pm BST today, directed by Clyde Munroe.
Cat’s new single follows her previous offering, ‘live more & love more’, surpassing 13 million global streams. She recently unveiled a stunning rooftop performance video to accompany the release. Earlier this year, Cat dropped the gospel-tinged ‘people pleaser’ and collaborated with ArrDee for their single, ‘Home For My Heart’.
Cat’s career trajectory has gone from strength to strength. From becoming the biggest-selling British female artist of 2022 and she’s received several accolades and counting, including three BRIT Award nominations (‘Song of The Year’, ‘Best Pop/R&B’ and Rising Star), BBC Sound Poll 2023 shortlistinduction, becoming Spotify’s Global RADAR artist and recently received a nomination for the ‘Rising Star Award’ at this year’s Ivor Novello Awards.
Her viral smash ‘go’, now 2x platinum, peaked at #2 on the Official Singles Chart and remained in the Top 10 for 17 weeks. Cat recently gave a superb performance of her hit single at the BRIT Awards earlier this year. She garnered three nominations, earning the title of the most nominated solo female artist at this year’s ceremony.
