Song Seoyoon Drops A New AW17 Lookbook From Outer Space

Song Seoyoon, a Korean designer operating out of New York, is making waves in the streetwear market. Now, the label’s innovative designs have been elevated to outer space for AW17.

The various bodies, materials and motifs in Song’s new collection are far-out and give a mid-2000s aesthetic a futuristic upgrade. The range was inspired by the way clothing interacts with the body and mind, and Song’s AW17 looks appear to be made for a “third kind.” Featuring various animal skins, iridescent fabrics and transparent materials, Song’s collection is full of textural playfulness and boundary-pushing ideas.
