Soleful Saturdays: Nike Kyrie 2 “Parade”

Keeping the weekly tradition alive and well, this issue of ‘Soleful Saturdays’ features yet another fresh release, this time arriving from the Nike Kyrie 2 series. Following their first ever victory in the NBA Finals, this rare pair was spotted on the feet of Kyrie Irving during the Cleveland Cavaliers’ victory lap through their hometown. A momentous image of him standing on a black truck was the first we’ve ever seen of these. But it now looks as though the “Parade” pair is going to be released to the public for all sneakerheads to possess. So have your debit cards and wallets on hand for this one!

This exclusive edition of Kyrie 2s features a clean, white mesh upper on the front end that evolves abruptly into black for the back end of the shoe. The midsole follows the same color scheme (first white, then black). This is then complimented by volt accenting on the branding of the tongue and the inside of the midfoot. To top it off we see a multicolor floral-printed strap resting comfortably over the lacing system to stylishly hide them away. All of this atop an ice-cold, translucent outsole with Kyrie’s signature logo stamped it.

These particular kicks are to be released today, August 6th, 2016 at select Nike Basketball retail stores across the U.S. and Europe. The set price has been listed at $120—which translates to €109 and £93 respectively. This is a rather low, low price for what may be the most extraordinary and meaningful colorway of the Kyrie 2 series.
