Is Selena Gomez Launching Her Own Jewelry Line?
This starlet just embarked on a trademarking spree.
If you flipped out over Selena Gomez’s first ever Vogue cover, then brace yourself for the latest news regarding the performer— Gomez is reportedly preparing to drop an accessories range. According to legal documents first shared by TMZ, Gomez is making moves to trademark her name, with the intent to make and market jewelry.
Gomez's production company, July Moon Productions, apparently filed paperwork to protect the use of "Selena Gomez" in music and video recordings, entertainment services and, most intriguingly, jewelry and necklaces.
Gomez assuming the role of designer is the expected next-step in her trajectory to complete worldwide domination. This year, she's collaborating on a collection for Coach, executive producing Netflix's "Thirteen Reasons Why" and recording music again. What’s more, over the weekend, the 24-year-old also became linked to a cosmetics collab with Pat McGrath, after the renowned makeup artist shared photos with the singer and her glitter lip kits. Although she hasn't publicly shared any info on that project yet, or the rumored jewelry label, we’re (not so) patiently awaiting to discover what the future holds for this multi-talented goddess.
