Timeless pieces only on demand and locally.

Looking for a truly good fashion brand? Berlin designer brand Natascha von Hirschhausen produces timeless pieces only on demand and locally - in a radically sustainable and zero-waste manner - always aiming to set the benchmark for sustainable fashion.

All components of all products are tested annually along the entire value chain for strict ecological and social standards - from the main material to the care label. All materials are plastic- free and certified organic and fair.

Plus, the entire collection is designed zero-waste. This means that less than 1% of the resources are wasted in the entire production, normally each garment causes about 20% material loss in cutting alone.

Made-on-demand: All garments are exclusively made to order to avoid overproduction. Like the draped summer blouse which is available in the monthly pre-order.

With the zero-waste summer blouse, not only the material is transparent but also its origin. The blouse is made of pure organic cotton from fair cultivation in Uganda. Likewise, the sewing thread and the care label are audited annually along the entire value chain. Every component, the entire value chain and mindful use of resources: this is how we imagine sustainability. The zero-waste blouse is available in cream or light blue.

For special occasions, there is a limited edition of summer blouses made of Ahimsa silk, also called Peace Silk. Ahimsa silk is one of the most luxurious fabrics in the world. It combines the high-end quality of silk with a holistic production process. During production, the cocoons are opened by hand so that the moth is not sacrificed for production. The silk threads are hand twisted and traditionally woven, giving the silk its distinctive character. The Peace Silk is made in Jharkhand, East India, and supports the rural population through a fair wage and good working conditions.

The Corona pandemic highlights the need to talk about sustainability in fashion. Overflowing warehouses and constant sales are signs that the fashion industry cannot go on like this. That is why made-on-demand is the new sustainable. Since its founding in 2016, zero-waste designer fashion brand Natascha von Hirschhausen has already been working exclusively on demand. Through the new pre- order system, customers can now experience the feeling of exclusivity of one-off production at more favorable conditions, as series production can be carried out more efficiently. Each pre-order period runs for four weeks, during which you can pre-order for a reduced price. The production and shipping will then be done within the following month.
