'Prozac' Is The Latest Alt-Pop Fix From Rebebe

The song will be available to stream this Friday.

With a song title such as “Prozac” comes curiosity and questions, and these questions are answered with poise and determination. Written by up and coming Danish alt-pop artist, Rebebe and produced by Liss member Villads Øster, the song is a refreshing taste of what’s to come from Rebebe’s EP, which will be releasing next month on the 30th October.

The tune’s aforementioned determinism comes from the song’s guitars, which are all satisfyingly varied but together very driven and distorted.

The vocals, which double up occasionally are also great, especially with the song’s chorus, which is addictively repetitive (in a good way), thanks to the great melody and progression.

Contrasting the heavy guitars mentioned earlier is a nice little bridge which comes as a quiet surprise because of it's difference with the rest of the song. As the guitars are absent they’re replaced by a nice sci-fi sounding synth and a chance for the vocals to really shine, which they inevitably do.

The song is a great listen and is out this Friday via Stellar Records.
