Prepare for Winter with the Coach 2025 Ready-to-Wear Collection

As Coach’s audience opts for comfort over jet setting abroad.

Stuart Vevers, creative director of Coach, has characterized his latest collection as a Winter one over Resort or Holiday to target the younger generation who have monopolized the brand into something special - Coach are now seen to be the place to go for relatable and affordable luxury.

“It’s an important distinction,” the designer said. “The Coach gang is mostly not on a cruise or at a resort.”

With this, Vevers has used the character of Popeye, one his target audience should recognize even in passing, on a variety of oversized lofty sweaters and ripped T-shirts with “love-worn finishes” inspired by a famous photo of Debbie Harry from 1978. It’s bold for sure.

While pieces such as oversize sustainable cardigans, knit leggings, patterned pajamas and other pieces appropriate for the Winter season dominate the collection, it becomes clear that this is not your average cozy collection.

“It’s the biggest knit season we’ve ever had. It definitely comes from a point of view of dressing, which knitwear gives us. It’s about the ease, coziness and comfort, and I see that strongly in the current generation, that shifts away from formality.”

Indeed they do, Vevers. His reference point was teenagers he had witnessed walking around New York in their pyjamas so he created his version. Meet one plaid model with a tuxedo stripe running down the leg. That same plaid was used in boxer shorts, styled with a boxy leather jacket and new shearling-lined “slippers” designed with street-friendly soles for the days when you opt for comfortability when running your errands.

Other standout options include cozy argyle, cable-knit and intarsia knits with irreverent, girly party clothes, such as raw-hemmed slip lace tank tops and dresses, or voluminous, taffeta and tweed skirts from the fall runway, now rendered in holiday-spirited plaids or with flocked velvet polka dots and stripes.

There are plenty of options for your holiday wear but also for those days when you want to sit in and binge-watch holiday movies with sweet treats.

What more could you want? Get ahead of the season and prepare yourselves now.
