PLEASURES FW19 Range Celebrates Joy Division’s 40th Anniversary

LA brand PLEASURES is taking us back to the 70s this season with a new capsule collection inspired by Joy Division’s iconic Unknown Pleasures album. The brand has teamed up with both Warner Music UK and Joy Division to create a fashion ode to the post-punk-rock band.

On a trip to Bangkok a few summers ago, we discovered a beautiful city that runs on the pulse of its music scene. @motleynick took us to a local bar that had a live band playing in a dimly lit room. They played a female-led version of “Love Will Tear Us Apart” by Joy Division. The legacy of UNKNOWN PLEASURES will live on forever #pleasuresnow #pleasures #joydivision

The collection spans puffer jackets, hoodies, jerseys, button-down shirts, oversized tees, totes and caps. Literally all you could want for the upcoming season. Our favorite pick is the oversized black jersey with the original epic album artwork. Just pair it with some white Nike Air Force Ones and messy bed hair to complete the look. We’re also obsessed with the side shell eiffel chairs, because we were not expecting furniture and now we’re rethinking the kitchen…

The collection will drop on the brand’s website November 1^st so keep your eyes peeled.
