Palmer Harding are Back
With their 2025 Resort collection.
Six months have flown by since Palmer Harding released their Fall 2024 collection. Since then, the British e-commerce giant Matches fell into administration, causing substantial losses for the boutique labels it once stocked for many to purchase at their disposal.
After 13 years in fashion, the duo behind Palmer Harding, Palmer and Harding, developed a successful direct-to-consumer business to keep their brand on sale. They have also developed their relationship recently.
They are not only partners in work, they are partners in life. Recently, they have entered a blossoming polyamorous relationship that has inspired this 2025 Resort collection. Harding detailed at the unveiling of it how "finding who we are outside of each other has strengthened our bond."
With this in mind, the Resort collection is an expression of the endorphins that have arisen in their brains during this arrangement.
Pleats on architectural denim jackets are pressed into the butterflies of the stomach. Double ties on emerald crepe dresses that are cinched at the waist suggest the meeting of two bodies. Shirt plackets and neck holes are angled as if to trace the pace of a crush - we've all been there. We know it well.
These details tend to contrast with stunning outsized silhouettes we cannot imagine not adding to our wardrobes.
