This Is Not A Drill: Palace X Reebok Are Back, Bitch!
It's been a long 12 months.
Cult fave skateboarding label Palace is back with a brand new capsule from one of their OG collabs, Reebok. After the last offering from the pair, the Workout Mid – a chunky exploration-inducing sneaker in blue, yellow and red colorways – the pair are introducing their latest footwear and apparel collection, the Classic Leather Pump.
The sneakers showcase Reebok’s classic vector stripes, contrasting with a single-color upper, and with the motifs of both brands sat on the tongue. Arriving in white/black and white/navy colorways, the sneaker features a low-cut design with Reebok’s pump technology, never before seen on a Reebok Classic, offering the wearer with a firm yet comfortable fit. Speaking on the collab, Palace’s team said for years they were told a classic/pump hybrid was impossible, “But we didn’t listen. Because at Palace, we had a vision: the Reebok Classic with a Pump on it.”
The capsule also includes three t-shirts, three crewnecks and three sweatpants, all available in black, white or light grey, and featuring Palace and Reebok’s enmeshed logo. The apparel also features a nod to Reebok’s British heritage, featuring red and blue piping on the sweatpants and crewnecks, with the latter and t-shirts boasting a Union Jack on the left sleeve. The collection will release on October 23 on Palace’s site and at brand locations in the EU and US, arriving in Japan and China a day later on October 24.
