Olivia Dean Returns With Brand New Single 'Danger'

A fusion of two of her favourite genre's growing up, Lover's Rock and Bossa Nova.

The East London artist's newest single 'Danger' articulates, so perfectly, how scary yet comforting, how risky yet thrilling it is to fall in love. It explains that nervous, butterfly feeling when you find yourself accepting the good in to your life - accepting someone who may be the right one for you.

Speaking on 'Danger', Olivia Dean says its a "song for when you realize the risk you’re taking by falling in love with someone who is really good for you. It’s playful, tongue in cheek and an oxymoron. My main aim with this song was to allow myself to have fun and let go."

Combining the syncopated rhythm, intricate melodies and the soft, soulful tone of her timeless voice, this new track certainly contributes to her absolute domination of the music scene. 'Danger' was picked as Radio 1's Clara Amfo's hottest record of the week, and she also has a feature on Loyle Carner's new album 'Hugo'. Alongside this release, Dean has also released a vinyl and will be hosting some intimate shows in record stores across the country.
