Nike x Sacai Release Athleisure Inspired Collection

Following the success of the Nike x Sacai sneaker collaboration, designer Chitose Abe has teamed up with the leading sportswear brand to create an apparel collection using her unique, signature aesthetic. The Nike x Sacai sneaker release sent Hypebeasts and baes across the globe into meltdown, selling out in minutes after their launch and now being resold for around $500, after retailing at just $160 USD. 

The collection was first previewed in a campaign video on Instagram which featured Naomi Osaka, showcasing a variety of athleisure-inspired garments. In the video, you can see a wide range of the collection including the Hybrid Skirt and Knee High Socks. Pieces are designed with a vibrant color palette of orange, teal and aubergine, which is complemented with cooler accents of white, grey and navy.

The classic Nike Swoosh logo is apparent throughout the collection, being cut and pieced together to recreate an innovative style of branding to represent the designer’s re-constructed aesthetic. 

The collection is available now from Nike.com with prices ranging between $85 and $500 USD.
