Monday Morning Kicks Off: Nike Kobe 11 Em Low Gs “Green Snake”
While having bid farewell to a long, rewarding career in the NBA, 5-time champion Kobe Bryant continues to live on in Nikeâs sneaker department. His 20 years spent as a Los Angeles Lakerâthe most seasons by any player on one franchiseâcan only be captured by highlight reels or Sportscenter â30 for 30â episodes. But with this exclusive, grade school release of the Nike Kobe 11 Lows, the younger generation can now imagine what once was, in the same style and light and as the Black Mamba himself.
While previous Kobe 11 releases all feature a multicolored Flyknit upper, the Nike Kobe 11 âGreen Snakeâ edition is the first to sport a snakeskin-inspired engineered meshâmixed in an anthracite, metallic silver/black and lucid green colorway. The Black Mamba theme is furthermore enforced on the shoeâs heels, with a synthetic snakeskin-like textile and a vicious snake logo embroidered on the right heel. All of this is then finished off with a vibrant, translucent outsole that is sure to turn heads upon coming in contact with any type of light.
Scheduled for release today, August 8th, 2016, these particular Nike Kobe 11s will only be available in kid sizes (to much of our grown folk readerâs disappointment). It is not yet known if the Nike Kobe 11s will be reproduced in men sizes, but if we follow Nikeâs history, they most definitely will. Priced at only $135âabout â¬122 and £104 respectivelyâThe Kobe 11 âGreen Snakeâ will be available at select Nike Basketball retailers, as well as online at major shoe sites. Be sure to cop these! Peace.
