Nike Beautiful X Powerful Collection Celebrates Female Athletes

The long awaited Nike Beautiful x Powerful Collection is finally here! Inspired by Joan Benoit Samuelsonâs victory at the first ever womenâs marathon in 1984, Nike has pulled together the notions of Samuelsonâs win to create this dynamic collection. Her lifetime slogan, âThere is no finish lineâ inspiring Nike to further their support and celebration of female athletes.

Honoring the evolution of female athletics and their boundary breaking goals that proved women were more than capable of running the distance, Nike have revolutionized their iconic sportswear brand. Taking Samuelsonâs trademark slogan, they have infused their products with her spirit and energy, drawing iconography from her winning lap and a speed stripe in the form of a jacquard weave.

Jumping on the sports luxe band wagon, Nike have created a fashion meets sports collection that would get even the laziest of girls off the sofa. The idea being to inspire you to get involved and show what you can achieve as a strong independent female. A collection of sultry tops, cut with unusual seams, exposing perfectly toned biceps and a flat stomach from all that running youâve been doing. Double layer running pants cut to accentuate the female form, finished with black running shoes that embody stealth itself.

While the premium leather collection is available now weâll have to wait until December 1st for the jacquard collection. By then, head to toe in the new collection, we should be looking hot whilst running, despite the beetroot face and sopping wet hair.
