New Extra Butter And The North Face’s Collection Inspired By New York City
Cinematic city lights on you.
The North Face and New York City based brand Extra Butter collaborate once again after their “Technical Difficulties” partnership, to bring to you their holiday’18 collection “Night Crawlers.” The inspiration came from the vast New York City, its edge, thrill, and impressive cityscape at night, as well as the city’s depiction in classic neo-noir films.
The collection includes the classic Nuptse Jacket, a heavyweight wind and waterproof Stetler Jacket, a new take on the standard Denali with a hooded half zip, and matching Denali Fleece pants all including the print of the contrast between lights and shadows of the streets of NYC and its skyline. In addition, there are some accessories, such as a beanie, an umbrella and a Ross II Sling pack, to complete the look.
"I wanted to take some of my favorite characters and films that took place in NYC and translate that into a timeless mood," Extra Butter’s creative director Bernie Gross told Esquire. Through this collection, you can just blend in the city, and in a classic NYC film, whichever you prefer.
The collection will be available for grabs starting December 15, exclusively online and at Lower East Side location of Extra Butter’s store.
