Moncler Joins Forces With JW Anderson For SS21
The new collection is already live.
The Italian Fashion House Moncler has once again teamed up with British designer Jonathon Anderson. Markedly different from their last Genius collab, the new collection, for SS21, is titled 'A Nomadic Journey'. Visibly inspired by a love of nature and freedom, it's no surprise that the brand decided to shoot the look book on a beach.
Reminiscent of childhood trips to the beach, the look book is full of primary colors and classic Moncler anchor motifs. In contrast to Anderson’s first season collection with Moncler, which was full of spiked jackets, this collab is all practicality; it might be designer, but it wouldn't out of place in an English fishing village. The collection this time around is full of roomy pockets, sensible shopper bags and cosy jackets. It's also partially made from Econyl, an eco-friendly, regenerated form of Nylon, in an effort to reduce single use plastics.
