Moncler Genius World Tour Announces Pierpaolo Piccioli For Next Drop
This month's collection uses nylon laqué as its only fabric.
Moncler has announced its second collab designer for its Genius World Tour 2019-2020, an exciting concept where the brand drops new pieces by a different designer each month. This time round Pierpaolo Piccioli has blessed us with a fire collection including a special twist: it uses only nylon laqué as a fabric.
We have some stunning evening wear with ball gowns, jumping to street style with hooded jackets and even capes made with Monclers iconic down stitching. The pieces truly are works of art and embody drama, extravagance & luxury, each with their own story.
Piccioli took inspiration from the Italian baroque with prints and designs from African textiles, crafted in collaboration with Ethiopian model Liya Kebede, owner of the gorgeous sustainable fashion label Lemlem that works exclusively with African artisans.
The Pierpaolo Piccioli pieces for Moncler are just the latest in line of Moncler Genius collections which have us in awe.
