Miu Miu’s FW23 Star-Studded Runway At PFW
Including Emma Corrin, Mia Goth, Noen Eubanks, Ethel Cain and Zaya Wade.
With fashion week season coming to an end, Miuccia Prada left much to be remembered with Miu Miu’s FW23 show at Palais d’Iéna in Paris.
Centred on the notion of “looking”, the collection explored a sense of undoneness and comfortability whilst reimagining classic everyday dressing, giving us an off-duty, late-for-work, granny-chic look.
Familiar favourites returned to the runway as Mia Goth opened the show in Miu Miu’s signature button-up cardigan and low-waist midi skirt paired with kitten heels and a messed-up hairdo; followed by an abundance of classic knit cardigans, sheer chiffon midi skirts with pantyhose and the brand's cult It-bags.
The Italian house said goodbye to its viral micro-minis, welcoming the midi trend, and saying no to pants altogether with models, including Emma Corrin, boldly wearing only bright sparkling underwear with tights.
Mrs. Prada also toyed with the idea of athleisure - transforming hooded sweatshirts with varied proportions, classical leggings, an abundance of knitted layers and sleek minimalist outwear to suit the Miu Miu girl.
As stars Noen Eubanks, Ethel Cain and Zaya Wade made their runway debut, a host of famous faces attended the highly-anticipated show including Nicola Peltz Beckham, Alexa Chung, Kylie Minogue and Lee Yoo-Mi.
