Miranda Del Sol’s “so In Looove” Is For The Girls Who Feel Everything, All At Once

Alt-pop’s dreamiest new obsession just landed—and she’s spiraling in style.

Ever fallen for someone so hard it feels like your brain short-circuited and your heart’s doing backflips in a slow-motion music video? Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter and producer Miranda del Sol gets it. Her latest single, “so in looove,” is a floaty, bilingual confession of reckless affection that hits like a sonic love letter you maybe shouldn’t have sent—but did anyway.

Set to a hypnotic swirl of R&B grooves, ethereal synths, and soft-spoken vulnerability, Miranda turns emotional chaos into a masterpiece. Think: Olivia Dean in a situationship, Orion Sun crying in the club, or your last voice memo to your bestie after texting your ex (again). That’s the vibe.

Miranda sings “I wish I was a liar / But I wear my feelings right on my sleeve,” and whew—same. The track oozes warm, nostalgic energy, with dreamy production that dips into early 2000s Latin-pop (yes, there’s a little Belinda in the DNA). Still, it’s anchored by Miranda’s painfully relatable lyricism and her cinematic sense of storytelling. It’s romantic, unhinged, and kind of hot—exactly the kind of alt-pop heartbreak anthem we want on loop.

And the music video? Even better. Shot on a windswept Long Island beach, it gives washed-out VHS-meets-iPhone-core with a splash of '90s sad girl glamour. Miranda’s alone by the ocean, unraveling in solitude, still waiting for someone who’s never coming back. The line “te esperaría a la orilla del mar (I’d wait for you by the seaside) if you let me” hits differently when you see her doing it. She directed and edited the whole thing herself (queen behavior), with dreamy visuals by Lucy Blumenfield and production from Charlie Mccolumn. It’s raw, nostalgic, and honestly devastating.

“I wanted it to feel like the inside of my mind when I realized they weren’t coming back,” Miranda says. “There’s beauty and devastation all at once.”

Raised in Miami and now based in Brooklyn, Miranda del Sol is Cuban-Argentinian American and brings that bicultural, beachy sazón into everything she touches. Since self-releasing her early tracks, she’s become a rising alt-pop it-girl. She’s already performed alongside icons like Carla Morrison and Dana Williams, and made waves at SXSW 2024. And with her debut EP dropping summer 2025 via Cosmica Artists, the spiral is just getting started.

Whether you’re hopelessly romantic, emotionally unavailable, or toggling between the two every 20 minutes—Miranda’s music gets you. “so in looove” is a dreamy little descent into obsession, and we’ll gladly keep falling.
