A Diverse Model Squad Front L'Oréal Paris x Balmain Lipstick Campaign
Female empowerment across all races and origins.
Back in May, L'Oréal announced an exciting upcoming lipstick collaboration with Balmain. The great news is, it's nearly here! The capsule collection is made up of 12 different shades, designed to empower all women with a something-for-everyone ethos. “The reason we made them like this is because we wanted to talk to so many women of all ages, all colours and all backgrounds,” Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing told British Vogue.
The fierce campaign, lensed by Nico Bustos, features 12 women of diverse backgrounds and origins – and Rousteing himself – posing on a rooftop to the backdrop of the dreamy Paris sunset. The Balmian-outfitted models include Lara Stone, Grace Bol and Ming Xi. We're hoping this marks the beginning of much more representation in the beauty industry.
The range of lipsticks will exclusively debut at Harvey Nichols on September 1 during Paris Fashion Week and will be widely released on September 25.
