Lana Del Rey Says “Norman F***ing Rockwell” Will Be Released Next Month
So excited.
Lana Del Rey announced that her new album Norman F***ing Rockwell will be coming out next month.
The singer announced the news during her set at Spain’s FIB Benicàssim Festival. The highly anticipated album has been in the works for a year now leaving fans extremely excited to finally get a release date. Lana Del Rey has released singles such as “Hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me- but I have it,” “Venice Bitch,” and “Mariners Apartment Complex.”
While the title track has yet to be released Lana explains that it is about an artist who refuses to be humble about his talent. “It’s kind of about this guy who is such a genius artist but he thinks he’s the shit and he knows it and he like won’t shut up talking about it. So often I end up with these creative types or whatever, an you know they just go on and on about themselves, and I’m like ‘Yeah, Yeah,’” She said in an interview with Zane Lowe.
“But there’s also a little bit of merit to it also. They are so good. I just like the title track so much that I was like “Ok, I definitely want the record to also be called that’.”
The full date has yet to be released but at least we now know that it will be out soon.
