König Souvenir X Bumble Unite In The Name of Art and Female Artists.

Queen Bs for the win.

POSTED BY ALIAA ELSHERBINI

For the first time, tech company Bumble and Berlin’s art initiative König Souvenir have teamed up to create two merchandises for the empowerment of female artists in the light of Berlin Art Week 2018.

The two pieces consist of a white long sleeve logo shirt and a classic and minimalistic black and white soccer scarf. The long sleeve includes an artsy surprise on the back with the portrayal of Berlin’s famous St. Agnes church that was built in the 1960’s in the modernist style, brutalism. The church stopped holding services since 2004, up until recent years when it was rehabilitated as a grand exhibition hall celebrating and showcasing art, making it a landmark of the arts reflecting the theme of this collaboration.

Bumble has become one of the most well-known social networks due to its unique initiative and feature of putting female first across its three functions: dating, friendship and business where women have to make the first move. Now it is empowering women in the art section in collaboration with another art Berlin-based pioneer König Souvenir proving the importance of women in the art world.
