Kim Kardashian Is Releasing A Documentary About Prison Reform Called “The Justice Project”
“I can’t wait to share these stories with you”
Okay, so remember back in July when Kim Kardashian tweeted that she filmed a criminal justice documentary with oxygen? Well, you don’t have to wait any longer for the doc to come out because it will be released on April 5 (mark your calendars!).
The two-hour film, titled Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project, will show Kim visiting prisons and working alongside legal experts on four cases of people they believe have been unfairly sentenced. The reality star shared the trailer to her 157 million Instagram followers “The official trailer for my new documentary is here!” She wrote. “Criminal justice reform is something that’s so important to me, and I can’t wait to share these stories with all of you.”
In the clip, Kim gets emotional as she explains: “there is a mass incarceration problem in the United States. I went into this knowing nothing, and then my heart completely opened up….people deserve a second chance.” It’s clear that after helping Alice Johnson get out of prison, Kim hasn’t forgotten about her mission to use her enormous platform to spark conversation and bring about positive change to help with prison reform in America. Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project will air on US television channel Oxygen on 5 April this year.
