Kanye West Just Confirmed The Release Date Of “Jesus Is King”
Exciting times to be alive!
After initial speculations surfaced end of August, Kanye West has now finally come forward himself to confirm the release date and official title of his newest album.
“Jesus Is King is out September 27th, so let’s continue this…”, he was heard saying on a video which was taken at his latest appearance in Batesville, Indiana, and shared via Instagram.
West’s ninth studio album is expected to include 12 brand new songs, including “Glade”, “Baptized” and “Wake The Dead”. The whole line-up was shared on 29th August by his wife, Kim Kardashian, who has been acting as a sort of spokesperson for the polarizing rapper since he decided to delete his social media channels. The picture which Kim shared both on Instagram and Twitter, showed a hand-written line-up, entitled “Jesus Is King”, as well as some glimpses of an open Bible and a note pad filled with scribbles.
Multiple song titles such as “God Is” and “Sweet Jesus”, allude to Kanye’s strong Christian belief which has been a major inspiration since his “College Dropout” days. And we’re sure that we’ll end up loving “Jesus Is King” just as much as Kanye loves Kanye.
