Watch: Julie Bergan's Pastel-Perfect Music Video Is Relatable AF
Guilt trip never looked so good.
Let's just be real here. We girlfriends can be pretty psycho at times – but not because we mean it or anything. You know those feels when your boy's going out for drinks with the lads and your insecure subconscious mind starts playing out all of the ways he could end up in another girl's bed? Even though you know he's wearing those absolutely horrendous novelty boxer shorts his mom bought him for Christmas? Yep. Well, trying to keep that irrational beast inside before it wreaks havoc on your relationship dynamics can be a tricky one.
Rising Norwegian pop star Julie Bergan's new single 'Guilt Trip' captures that boiling-over state perfectly: “Yeah, if you leave on a bad note / I know that your conscience won't leave you alone / Guilt trip you all the way home.” Sneaky. But to be fair, if we were her guy, we wouldn't be all that mad. In fact, the ol' guilt trip has probably never looked as good as it does in her pastel-perfect music video. There's even a throwback to high-school gym class.
