Jen Aniston Joins Instagram
The one where Jen broke Insta.
This is not a drill, everyone’s favorite Friend is now on Instagram and she has amassed over 7.3 million followers in less than 24 hours. We can’t say we’re that surprised; Rachel Green did always know how to make an entrance.
Although her Insta-entrance did not involve rushing into a coffee shop in a 90s wedding dress, it did however, throwback to the iconic sitcom. Jen’s first post was a 6 person selfie for the ages featuring her Friends costars and real-life friends: Matt Le Blanc, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow. It literally made our hearts fuzzy.
Also in the Friends theme, Reese Witherspoon (who first became friends with Jen while playing Rachel Green’s sister on the show) posted a photo with Jen and welcomed her to the social media site. Courteney Cox followed suit shortly after by posting an adorable pic of the pair with the caption: “Hi Jen! Welcome to the social media world…it sucks. You’re gonna love it!♥️♥️♥️” Clearly, friends who work on Friends together, stay together…
But, could this all point to something bigger? Could Jen joining Insta mean something? And could the reunion selfie be a sign that a Friends reunion might actually, FINALLY be on the cards? Don’t burst our bubble! We’re all for a conspiracy theory; particularly if it allows us to stalk Jen Aniston on the daily. *cue rewatching Friends from the beginning*
