Instagram Launches Wellness Advice Feature
The ‘guides’ aim to support those struggling mentally from the pandemic.
Instagram has announced the launch of a new wellness feature, which will provide advice to those struggling with anxiety and grief, especially due to the pandemic.
‘Guides’ will allow various creators to upload tips and advice to their own profile.
The feature has been organised by Heads Together, a mental health platform, ASFP, a suicide prevention foundation, and Klicksafe, a German Internet Safety group.
Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri wrote on Twitter: ‘We know people are struggling due to Covid-19, so the first Guides focus on wellness and content form respected organisations and creators’.
Starting today, you can check out Guides – a new way to discover recommendations on Instagram.
