Hottest NFL Cheerleaders Outfits: Fashion and Glamour on Game Day
Who slay the style game.
The National Football League used to be only about football, which wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. Now, however, while the game remains the focus, there are any number of ancillary attractions. Among them are the cheerleaders, and with that debate over which team has the hottest NFL cheerleader outfits.
While there have been cheerleaders on NFL sidelines over the past number of decades, they were first in the mainstream when the Dallas Cowboys ruled as “America’s Team” back in the 1970s. That’s when the Cowboy cheerleaders were ubiquitous, seen on calendars, posters, and Love Boat episodes, among other places.
Cheerleaders in Dallas have been joined by lovely young ladies associated with the majority of the 32 teams in the NFL. They are guaranteed to be seen not only by those fans in the stadiums but by the lens of television during the game.
We’re not trying to be sexist, but the National Football League’s audience is certainly dominated by men. Hence, the cheerleaders. Along with the choreography comes the costumes, and the question of which team has the hottest cheerleaders in the NFL.
It’s not necessarily one of the hot-button issues in the world, but it’s a thing, so here’s a primer…
Why How Many NFL Teams Have Cheerleaders?
Before broaching the topic of the NFL’s hottest cheerleaders, we need to find out how many teams have them on the sidelines. At the start of the 2024 league season, there were 24 squads among the 32 teams. Rather than list the teams with them, here are the ones without them…
-
Buffalo Bills
-
Chicago Bears
-
Cleveland Browns
-
Green Bay Packers
-
Los Angeles Chargers
-
New York Giants
-
New York Jets
-
Pittsburgh Steelers
That’s eight of 32, or 25 percent. Thus, the remaining 24 teams have teams of their own. They are paid roughly $150 per game (additional with public appearances) as seasonal workers, which has been a matter of some pushback. They are also required (in some cases) to buy their own uniforms. There are also rules to “obey,” including respect for the dress code, diet and weight control, conduct and language, lack of body piercings and/or tattoos, and no interaction with players. It’s not all sunshine and glamour.
Now, to the matter of international importance, as in which team has the hottest cheerleaders and hottest NFL cheerleader outfits, it doesn’t take very long to do some research. If not viewing the squads and their uniforms in person at the stadium or on television, Google them.
There are plenty of photos of the 24 cheerleading outfits (along with individual photos) in their outfits. Some even have nicknames of their own, including the Carolina Topcats, Cincinnati Bengals, Las Vegas Raiderettes, Jacksonville Roar, New Orleans Cheer Krewe, San Francisco 49ers Gold Rush, Seahawks Dancers, and Washington Command Force.
Selecting a squad of your choice is probably related to selecting a team of your choice. It wouldn’t be farfetched to assume a fan’s favorite football squad and cheerleading squad are related. You can’t go wrong in any direction. It’s the same as taking a multiple-choice test and using “all of the above” every time.
Again, without appearing to be sexist, all two dozen cheerleading squads in the National Football League feature a bevy of pretty women who are very attractive.
Any Final Thoughts?
While the immense popularity of the National Football League revolves in large part around NFL lines this week, teams have added to the experience in any number of ways. Gourmet food, high-tech video and meeting the players (open practices) as well as the aforementioned cheerleading squads are among the incentives.
