Helmut Lang Pre-Spring 2018 Is A Black Streetwear Masterpiece
Shayne Oliver breathes life into the iconic label.
Following his New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2018 debut, Shayne Oliver continues to impress with the release of his Helmut Lang Pre-Spring 2018 collection. The '90s-leaning streetwear collection is dominated by black oversized pieces – reworked and deconstructed. Slouchy joggers feature T-shirt sleeves at the pockets, a hoodie boasts double-seamed elbows, notches are cut from the underarms of a teddy sweater, the sleeve of a vest unpops to hang loose and sleeves are over-long. The red embroidered “Austria” motif can be seen throughout, as well as minimal Helmut Lang branding.
The stand-out items have to be that vibrant peach-colored padded jacket with cut-out underarms and a neo-noir graphite-gray trench coat – flashing optional.
Shop the pieces now at 017 from approximately $133 USD.
