GROWTH Is The Underground Streetwear Brand To Add To Your Radar
Strong graphics, off-kilter typefaces and a hip-hop meets hardcore aesthetic.
You know your Supremes, your BAPEs and your Anti Social Social Club—but there are loads more exciting, emerging streetwear brands out there. While they may not have instantly recognizable logos or hyped up drops that the aforementioned labels do, they’re creating well-designed gear with interesting graphics and an even more interesting backstory. One of the up-and-coming streetwear labels we currently have our eye on is GROWTH.
GROWTH clothing is a independent brand who creates quality threads produced in limited quantities for those “seeking GROWTH in today’s society.” Set up in 2014, the brand has strong graphics, off-kilter typefaces and a hip-hop meets hardcore aesthetic.
For SS17, GROWTH released a new collection inspired by William Shakespear and Tupac Shakur. Although these influences may sound conflicting initially, after looking at the collection, you’ll see just how well Shakespear and Tupac vibe. The stand-out pieces of this collection are the maze-colored “Brawling Love” and the sand-colored “Boutique de Fleurs” tees. Both graphics directly challenge its wearers to fight for what they love.
