Grimes On Studio Mission To Make “Never Heard Before” Music
The Canadian star gives an exciting update on her new music.
Grimes fans have been patiently waiting for the artist's follow-up to 2015's Art Angels after she teased last year that she was “halfway done” on a new slower-tempo album. “I’m really vibing on making something really slow and gorgeous that just breathes, and has room to breathe,” she told V back in November.
Following her feature in Harpers Bazaar's new Icons list this weekend, she answered fans' eagerness by posting an Instagram update on her upcoming new music. “I kno i’ve been quiet lately,” she writes. “in the studio every day trying to legit make something you've never heard before. unexplored sonic landscapes. i need another month or 2 of pure unadulterated creativity at which point i will begin finishing tracks. won't let u down.”
