Forever 21 Teases Collab With Baby Phat
The 00s brand is back.
We already knew that a resurgence of Baby Phat was coming and now, Forever 21 is publicly teasing a collab with the noughties favorite brand.
A retro styled clip featuring old school tech was posted to Forever 21 Twitter - complete with a message from a “ K.L.S” teasing a “major buzz.” The clip is urging followers to keep an eye out on the 6/13, for when “the cat is back.”
what's the buzz about tho 📟📟📟— Forever 21 (@Forever21) June 12, 2019

The K.L.S is obviously in reference to developer Kimora Lee Simmons Leissner, who announced back in March that she had bought the label back of an undisclosed company.
“We had to hunt around for it,” she told WWD “It’s perfect timing for this. Over the past several years, we realized the brand resonates with people and lives deep in their souls.”
Back in May, the official @BabyPhat Instagram also teased a relaunch for this summer. But Wednesdays Forever 21 clip is the closest we’ve gotten to know when the brand will return.
The clip has definitely gotten people talking about the brands PST and trying to imagine what it’s going to look like in 2019.
