POSTED BY SYDNEY YEAGER

As the crisp Fall air brings in a new season, fashion and nail trends alike start to change for the season. These changes can focus on popular small designs, but more often it’s a difference in colors. For 2024, nail color trends are seeming to embrace a more muted and natural palette as fall begins to ramp into full gear. There is some inclusion of different jewel tones and colorful pops–such as vibrant orange, but for the most part, it looks like the girls are going for subtle and demure fall nails. Here are the top five nail colors we're seeing on social media.

1. Burgundy

One of the standout colors for fall 2024 is a deep, sophisticated, and moody burgundy. This hue, reminiscent of crimson leaves and ripe autumn berries, exudes elegance and warmth. It’s perfect for those who want a classic yet impactful look that transitions seamlessly from day to night.

2. Earthy Olive

Embracing a certain woodiness of the fall season, olive tones are coming in hot this season. The color certainly gives an air of sophistication and beauty, plus it looks fantastic on any skin tone

3. Burnt Orange

Lending a bit of vibrant energy to this season’s nail colors, burnt orange has gotten popular for the fall. Often just a little brighter than a pumpkin hue, the color is a great way to add a pop to your autumn outfits.

4. Deep Plum

Deep Plum is another trending nail color that falls into the jewel tone category. It’s a complex tone that gives a little bit of opulence to your hands. The deep purple also pairs well with the four other trending nail colors, making it a very transitional and fun tone to add to your fingertips.

5. Soft Taupe

Soft taupe has been a trending nail color for the clean girls for a more understated approach. The fall nail color offers a neutral yet stylish option for the simple girlies and also blends well with the other tones on this palette.
