Finn Wolfhard Set To Direct First Feature Film
The 'Stranger Things' star is stepping behind the camera.
Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard is set to make his feature film directorial debut with his new film Hell of a Summer.
“I am so excited to be co-directing my first feature film. I get the chance to work with an incredible cast and crew, and to work with a company like 30West and Aggregate is a real dream,” said Wolfhard in a statement.
The 19-year-old will co-direct and star in the film along with Billy Bryk. Bryk starred alongside Wolfhard in Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021) and starred in Wolfhard’s short film Night Shifts (2020).
Hell of a Summer is described as being a horror comedy film. Wolfhard has no shortage of experience when it comes to the genre. He has recently done voice-over work in The Legend of Ochi and Guillermo del Toro’s version of Pinocchio, both set to release in 2022.
