FENTY has dropped its first collection of the decade and to no surprise, it’s super lit! The “Release 2-20” collection is built around the idea of freedom – whether that be freedom of expression or creativity. Rihanna chose to design a collection that is not constrained with any dress codes. Instead, she created a selection of casual ensembles that can be worn everyday for any occasion.
The collection which combines attitudinal everyday wear with luxury, features tailored trench coats, utilitarian corset dresses, wide-leg power suits, bomber-jackets, and hoodie dresses – arriving in a color palette of burnt oranges, khaki, and muted yellow. The whole 2-20 collection can either be dressed up with the parachute boots or dressed down with FENTY’S first flat shoe, the Hiking boot.
