Fashion’s Favorite Cat And ’00s Favorite Sneakers Make A Dream Combo

Who wasn’t obsessed with Hello Kitty as a kid? We proudly wore tees and undies printed with her lovable face plus, of course, her signature red bow. The cartoon cat returns as Skechers, an early ’00s footwear brand, announces a Hello Kitty collab.   

The adorable kitten’s face freshens up SkechersS classic style. Five variations of V’lite, a low-top silhouette, are a perfect match with Hello Kitty’s cute vibe. With a white upper and colored sole, available in black, blue, green, red or yellow, they look like cool versions of trainers we wore as kids during summer vacay. Bonus points for rainbow shoelace eyelets! Hello Kitty’s face is featured at the lateral, while her subsistent bow appears at the heel counter, so no one will miss out on our fav cat.   

Skechers Energy, a classic, chunky-sole style, with a white upper, comes in three colorways, with black, pink and red stripes. A tonal white one is available as well. The cutest part is that Hello Kitty’s bow adorns the “S” in the brand’s logo at the lateral. You’ll find the face of the cat herself at the heel counter and on the stripe. Pop Ups, chunky flip-flops, perfect for hotter days or stylish grocery shopping, bear the collection’s logo on the tonal black, pink or white midsole. They are additionally adorned with stripe, spelling out collection’s logo and kitten’s face, stamped on the toe box.
