Ellesse Launches First Ever Streetwear Campaign Featuring An AI Model
‘My Style Is Who I Am’
For their SS19 ‘My Style Is Who I Am’ campaign ellesse is writing history as the first ever sports and streetwear brand to feature the first digital supermodel. AI Shudu was created by British fashion photographer and visual artist Cameron-James Wilson and was cast together with her real-life inspiration model Misty along with stunt expert Harry Gallagher and streetwear and style figurehead Magnus.
The campaign celebrates the launch of the SS19 collection, which explores 90s acid rave culture design details, and experiments with repeat logos, pastels, and splashes of neon. Ellesse’s iconic Jet Stripe, an original skiwear design detail, is referenced across both men’s and women’s collections; breaking up block colored tracksuits and t-shirts. Cuffed waistbands and bat-wing cuts echoing throughout the collections further establish the brands' reference to 80s archive sports design. Whilst fabrics including premium cotton, crushed velvet, and velour are introduced to the collections and juxtaposed with traditional sportswear designs including bra tops, cycling shorts, and shellsuits.
The collection and more information on its stars are now available online and in stores.
