Dr. Martens' 'Made Strong' Campaign Celebrates Individuality With The 1460s

Across London, Tokyo, and New York streets.

POSTED BY ANNA GRAHAM

How do you wear your 1460s? That's the question that Dr. Martens asks in its new "Made Strong" campaign, which features a diverse and dynamic group of creatives who share their stories and styles with the iconic boot. The campaign includes Mexican singer-songwriter Niko Rubio, who uses music as a tool for social change, environmental activist Xiuchtezcatl, who fights for climate justice, Nigerian skate crew Motherlan, who bring joy and community to their city, photographer H, who captures the beauty of everyday life, and performance artist Oduenyi, who explores identity and expression through movement.

The campaign also showcases the different ways that the 1460 can be worn, from knee-high and platform models to colorful and graphic ones. The campaign was shot in three global cities: London, Tokyo and New York, where the 1460 has been a staple of street culture and subculture for decades. The campaign aims to inspire a new generation of rebels who wear their 1460s with pride and purpose.
