Dover Street Market Takes On Paris
COMME des GARÇONS open Dover Street Market in the city of love.
Dover Street Market has announced today that Paris shall be joining their worldwide collective. The concept store has had huge success in the city when they launched Dover Street Parfums Beauty Concept Store on Place Vendôme.
The COMME des GARÇONS owned establishment will welcome a new Dover Street to work alongside their Perfums store, naming the new venture ‘Little Market’. The space will stock seven small designers to continue the brand’s initiative of supporting up and coming designers. While the retailer has expressed interest in expanding its presence in France finding a suitable space has been challenging.
Some of the brands included are New York’s Vaquera, Moscow’s Rassvet, Singapore’s Youths in Balaclava and Paris’ Weinsanto to name but a few, all in keeping with the brands youthful and eclectic style.
Dover Street Market’s branding strategy includes artwork representations on its website that best embody new emerging designers.
The new store will open on February 27 at 54 Rue du Faubourg St, but in the meantime, you can shop for the designers here.
