Conan Gray Does a Merch Drop in Chelsea and Serves Fans
I’ll take a half-caf double skim latte with a ringer T-shirt please.
Conan Gray had a merch drop in Chelsea, New York, on Friday, June 24th, that had hordes of fans lined up around the blocks for hours. Gray spent part of the morning serving his guests Cafe-style at The Flat NYC while having his merch on sale. The event, sponsored by Nespresso, coincided with the release of his second full-length album, “Superache” and included a surprise performance.
The collection includes bucket hats, tote bags, hoodies, and ringer t-shirts that read “Disaster” and “Superache is for Virgins.” His broken vinyl ringer tee and other looks bring the pop star's trademark attitude of subversion while still having fun.
After the success of his previous album “Kid Krow,” the “Maniac” singer released his second full-length album to many adoring fans. Gray said about his second album, “Disastrously excited to announce my sophomore album, Superache. This is a world I’ve been living in for over two years. It’s a story of heartbreak, friends, yearning, and the almost hysterical existence of being young and emotional,” on his Instagram story on Monday, April 11th.
Coming off his Coachella performance two months ago, the American pop star served customers at the Cafe and sold his merch. Tickets to his "Superache" tour are now available, with his fans now able to roll up to his concerts decked out in "Superache" merch.
