Charli XCX And Mura Masa's New Video Perfectly Sums Up One-Night Stands

After releasing her new mixtape "Number 1 Angel," Charli XCX returns with producer Mura Masa on the reflective new video for single "1 Night." The video’s storyline follows the first night of four couples’ hookups, with shots of Charli singing and dancing to her summery pop track in between. From taking a bath together, to cuddling in bed, the makeshift couples are doing all of the things that you would least expect from a casual one-nighter. But as Charli sings about love that begins with a fiery passion— and then quickly fades and ends— the visuals show that this is probably the case for every pair in the featured vid. 

“It was only one night / But I wanna go back to where we were / I just wanna go back to where we were," she sings, explaining the idea that sometimes love ends before it even has a chance to begin.
