Cardi B dons the best medieval boots of the season

Balenciaga’s AW21 digital show saw the runway, or in this case, screen, adorned with medieval Marvel-esk greatness in the form of the video game Afterworld: The Age of Tomorrow. With the option to select your very own Balenciaga styled avatar we couldn’t help but salute you House of B.

But one particular piece we couldn’t take our eyes off just appeared on Cardi B’s Instagram and we are LIVING. Showing staying in-in is now the new out-out, Cardi B donned a pair of gold-armored thigh highs, welded together with a point so sharp it’d slice the haters.

Already on ten million views, the WAP superstar gave a glimpse of the fierce boots paired with what we presume to be a bathrobe…we do love a stay-in look. Making her our new knight in golden armor and with metallic talons to match, Balenciaga Bardi is our new favorite alter-ego.

The menswear line showed a similar pair in silver for the gents, so lads if you’re feeling brave come forth!

Having featured in Balenciaga’s campaign and being a cult wearer of the brand, we can only imagine what other juicy statement looks Balenciaga Bardi will throw at us, but what we can say for sure is until the world is put to rights and fashion looks are back on the street, we shall be living vicariously through her!
