179 days 746mm.

Rains and Wood Wood have joined forces to launch a new wet-weather capsule to temper the drizzly Danish climate. The collaboration addresses form and functionality, featuring technical, monochrome pieces in Rains’ signature waterproof fabrics. Dual-branded unisex raincoats, drawstring bucket hats and a transparent take on Wood Wood’s Marlo shoulder bag head up the collection, representing each label’s respective signature silhouettes which are fused together in a cocktail of style and practicality.

On average, it rains for 179 days, totaling 746mm of rainfall per year, which is the driving force behind the collection’s waterproof aesthetic. The stats are even printed on pieces throughout the capsule, alongside Wood Wood’s iconic ‘bubble-arrow’ graphic, highlighting the need for waterproof ‘fits in the brands’ home country.

Releasing via Wood Wood and Rains outlets on September 17.
