When looking for a good moisturizer, get one with high fatty acids and humectants. These two ingredients help reduce skin dehydration by locking in moisture.

For better results, apply your moisturizer generously on your skin at least twice daily. Avoid moisturizers that contain artificial fragrances and colors, they heighten skin sensitivity. 

4. Apply SPF

The UV rays from the sun can be extra harsh on sensitive skin. You need as much protection from the sun as you can get. So, apply your sunscreen frequently, especially after moisturizing. Also, wear hats and sunglasses when stepping out.

Also, when getting sunscreen, avoid the ones with UV blockers and go for the ones with physical blockers. This way, you can protect your skin from further damage.

5. Be Gentle With Your Skin

Avoid harsh products and use ones that are gentle on the skin, preferably products with natural ingredients. Their anti-inflammatory properties will help keep the natural oils in your skin active and protect it from irritants.
