The Birkenstock Arizona Sandal Gets The Hermès Treatment
They're priceless!
Brooklyn-based brand MSCHF have united with sandal gods Birkenstock to create their own take on the Arizona sandal.
You won't feel bad buying these pair of shoes as they have a sense of sustainability about them.
Made from authentic destroyed Hermès Birkin Bags, the shoe comes in it's iconic silhouette featuring gold metal buckles and engrained text reading "Birkenstock".
Take your pick from a condensed range of colors such as a classic black, white and maroon. Each features the brands recognisable suede footbed lining.
But the big question is how much will it cost to get my hands on a pair of these? And well the answer is that there is no set price. Each design's price varies depending on the model used to make the sandal.
This collaboration follows MSCHF's design take on the Nike Air Max 97 sneaker back in 2019, which become an overnight sensation and was blessed with the name "Jesus Shoes".
Will their latest venture follow in the footsteps of their most recent success?
The MSCHF Birkenstock sandals are now available to buy online where prices range from $34,000 to $76,000 USD.
