Balmain's FW 21 Show Takes To The Skies
'Above and Beyond' brings viewers to new heights.
There’s a good chance it’s been a while since you’ve stepped foot on a plane, but that doesn’t mean you can’t experience the glitz and glamour of air travel through Balmain’s new show.
The brand’s fall/winter show, cleverly entitled ‘above and beyond’, features models stepping out of an airplane dressed in looks visibly inspired by pilot and astronaut uniforms.
It doesn’t stop there, however. Next up, creative director Olivier Roustening takes us into the space age – all the way to the moon, in fact, on a light up runway.
The setting and style of video suits the collection well. The clothes rarely shy away from the flashy and bold; the collection is full of neon jumpers and blocky, statement sunglasses.
