Back To School: 4 Beauty Time Saving Tips

School, the place where summer memories fade just as quickly as teachers hand out the syllabus. But for beauty lovers, school is just another reason to restock on our favorite beauty products, shamelessly binge-watch “Back To School” makeup tutorials, and perfect that precise wing liner you’ve been working on all summer. Being a self-proclaimed beauty junkie isn’t a bad thing, but it can get in the way when you hit the snooze button on your alarm five times.

Now you only have 20 minutes to get ready and head out the door. Just because you’re short on time doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice makeup. It just means you may have to prioritize what’s important in your routine. So we decided to give you four beauty tips on how to still slay your first day and still make it on time to class! Let’s get started!

Tip #1 – Remain calm and PRIME

Now is not the time to be flustered! Take a deep breath and don’t forget to prime. Primer can be used by itself because it smooths skin, shrinks the size of your pores, and stops shine. So even if you aren’t using foundation, it’s still pretty useful.

Tip #2 – A little goes a long way, CONCEAL! 

When you’re running behind schedule, foundation can take up some valuable time, and trust me five minutes goes by QUICK. Skip out on foundation and use concealer to hide those imperfections. Dab a little on and blend – you’re good to go.

Tip #3 – Add a little volume! 

Mascara is key when you don’t have time beat your entire face. You can quickly swipe on a few coats (careful not to stick your eye!) And you’ll be ready to take on the day!

Tip #4 – Don’t forget about the pout!

There’s nothing worse than walking around with chapped lips. Make sure you take the time to remember to moisturize your lips before you leave the house. It’s amazing what some Chapstick and your favorite lip gloss can do for you!
